Thanks to everyone for Seth's birthday gifts last week. He loves them all :) This morning we've been playing Dora the Explorer for Playstation 2 and he just absolutely loves the game!

Well we had Seth's two year well baby visit today. He's 38.5 inches tall and is 32 lbs. I didn't think he was over 38 inches but knew he was close! Scott said he would have to get in all of his spankings in early or Seth would be bigger than him. He also got his hep a vac so we are covered until he is 3! So glad :)

No need for vitamins or changes in diet b/c he's doing fine :) He should be the poster child on some vegetarian group :)

Our Seth is so smart. Over about the past week his language skills have really blossomed. Susan and I were talking about this sentence structure this morning and then it struck us as funny to talk about a just-now-2-year-old's sentence structure lol. He uses his prepositions correctly, his possessives, and he (quite frankly) speaks more-properer English than a lot of people I see day-to-day lol

This has been a really good week for us. It's been the first week that Scott's traveled that Seth has adjusted to in a long time. He understood when we got to the airport that Scott was leaving but would be back. All week he has asked me "Where Daddy?" and would then answer his own question with "Daddy work!"

This week we've done new things like we went to a bakery and he picked out his own cookie and sat in a big boy seat and ate it while saying..."Yummy...I LOVE Cookies!" We went to a huge bounce house and when he was finished he said.."Ok Momma...go home now...all done."

Every night while we are running bath water, Seth sits on his potty. Tonight we were reading and he said.."Momma...tee tee in the potty?" This is what we say the whole time in there so I said.."yes..we tee tee in the potty." Then he said..."Momma...tee tee in the potty!" and pointed down..sure enough...we had tee tee in the potty! Then he said..."Yeah TeeTee" and started clapping. It was very funny.

After the bath and after we read a few books and turned the lights off we were about to say our prayers. Every night I start them the same way.."Dear Jesus..thank you for today and thank you for my family..." Tonight I said..."Dear Jesus.." and Seth yells out "Good Job!"

I just laughed to myself and thought...Good Job indeed :)
