He's sooo smart lol. Since I posted that he could say 30+ words on Sunday, he's learned to say at least five new ones (tree, leaf, one, two, three) and we remembered a few more. I actually think he can say about 40 words now.

Just to be clear, I don't mean repeat after us; I mean that you can point to the object, ask him what it is, and he'll tell you. He's just so smart :)

At his 15-month checkup, the progress indicator for 18-24 month olds was to have a vocabulary of 50-150 words. He'll have that before he turns 16 months! I'm such a proud poppa - it's a good thing that no one reads these things or I'd get in trouble for bragging; in reality, I'm just having so much fun that I love to share :D

We tallied up Seth's word counts yesterday (he's now 15 months) and wow! He can say over 30 words, can understand well over 100 other words, and can say at least 9 animal sounds and recognize another 10+. We're such proud parents :)

Awww - he's so much fun. We had his 15-month checkup last week and he's still 97% on height, 90% on weight, and his motor skills/mental "stuff" weighed in at 23 months. I can't take much of the credit - that's all from how much time his mother spends with him. It does make a father proud...

The Latest...

He starts "school" next month - We've enrolled him in his first "school" - a Montessori school down the street. He's in the 18-month to 3-year class so hopefully he'll have some bigger kids he can hang around with.

Poll: Will he be taller than 6' 2"?
Yes: 50%
No: 50%
Only if you stretch him: 5%

(5% margin of error)
