Last night Seth played in the rain...he said..'Oh no....I need a un-lel-la!!!' Then the umbrella got stuck between the slide and chair and he said, 'Oh NO! My un-lel-la is stuck!!! Help, help..my Un-lel-la is stuck!!!'
So I thought I'd bring you up to speed on what we've done today.
First I covered the table in foil and taped it down. Then I put a few drops of sesame oil on the table and spread it around...just a light coat. Then I cut up little pieces of different color tissue paper and we "glued" them to the table making a collage of sorts.
Then later I put shaving gel on the table and we played in that for a while.
We drew picutres all in it. He had a great time but then got on the table and then slid off. I put him in the sink to wash him off and he threw a fit b/c I wasn't going to let him sit in the sink anymore! Anyway..he's had fun.
Right now I've got the easel set up with colored pencils and he's been drawing for a while. He just ate a big lunch and is acting sleepy. I hope to have him down for a nap in about 30 mins.
